LOVE as I SEE it

Love, as I see it, is not about possession, attraction, or the idea of "needing" another to feel complete. It is a state of being—a reflection of the boundless light that exists within all of us, radiating outward without expectation or attachment.

When you say, "Love doesn’t mean 'I want you' or 'I want you to be mine,'"

I fully embrace that. In my own journey, I’ve realized that love cannot be confined to selfish desires or the ego’s need for ownership. True love is liberating. It doesn’t seek to control or dominate; instead, it respects and honors the sovereignty of another being. It acknowledges their unique path, their realness, and accepts them as they are, without imposing expectations or conditions.

The misconception that love equates to attraction, need, or dependency often clouds its true nature. These are the illusions we’ve been conditioned to believe. Love, in its purest form, is a higher vibration—a state of unconditional giving that asks for nothing in return. It is not

"I need you to fulfill me"

but rather

"I honor and support your journey, and in doing so, I fulfill my own."

You touched on something deeply significant when you said,

“If there is anything I can offer, without compromising my true nature, that will help you on your path, then it will be a gift to me if you’ll allow me to give it.”

This embodies the law of love that governs all existence. Love is not about sacrifice or losing oneself in another. It is about giving freely, from a place of abundance, without expectation of reciprocation. When we offer something from our true nature—our own alignment with love—we do so with joy, not obligation. And that giving becomes a gift to ourselves as well, a reflection of the unity that binds all beings together.

This resonates with my belief that love is the highest vibrating force in the universe. It exists beyond duality, beyond the ego's need for validation.

When we love someone in this way, it’s an act of mutual respect, an acknowledgment of their divinity. We’re not trying to change them, possess them, or mold them into something that fits our narrative. We’re simply honoring their existence, standing in awe of who they are in their fullness, and offering whatever we can from a space of wholeness within ourselves.

In my view, this is where true love emerges—not from desire, but from recognition.

Recognition of the light that exists in another, and in that moment, we become mirrors reflecting that light back at each other. It is a dance of giving and receiving, without strings, without conditions. It’s the understanding that love is not a limited resource but an infinite wellspring that only grows stronger the more we allow it to flow.

And as you beautifully put it,

“In this way, I find I am loving more and more people.”

This is the ultimate truth of love: the more we give it, the more it expands. Love is not something that diminishes with sharing; it is something that multiplies, that connects us to everyone and everything around us. When we tap into this boundless reservoir of love, we realize that it extends far beyond romantic notions or relationships. It encompasses every soul we encounter, every being we cross paths with.

To love in this way is to live in alignment with the highest truths of the universe. It is to see others not as separate, but as extensions of ourselves—each on their own path, each sovereign, and yet intricately connected. This is the essence of unity, the oneness that love reveals to us.

When we approach love from this perspective, we are no longer bound by fear, jealousy, or attachment. Instead, we are free to give, to receive, and to honor the divine in all beings.

In essence, love is the recognition of the light in another and the willingness to honor and support that light without any need for it to serve us.

It is a state of pure, unconditional giving, rooted in the understanding that we are all one. This is the love that transforms, the love that heals, and the love that unites us in a higher state of being.
