Dissecting Bashar Teaching here...

 DISSECTING THE SINGLE MOMENT

A word for word breakdown

Here is the original teaching, in full, in quotes.

"Now if you understand that time itself can be reduced to a single moment, then the fact that you experience many different moments means that all those moments actually have to be happening at the same time. But that you only perceive the same moment from another perspective and that's what makes it seem as if there's another moment.

But it's just a shifting of your point of view of the same moments, like looking at the other side of it and going, well, this must be another moment. And this must be another moment, and this must be another moment, but it's not.

It's the same moment from different points of view.

So the idea of parallel realities is just a stretched extension of that idea.

Everything is happening here. And now everything is overlapping. Just like all the different television programs really all exist all at once in your TV set, but you don't perceive the different program until you change the channel because you're switching frequencies.

So likewise all the different realities that you call past, present, future, parallel realities, alternate realities, physical, non-physical, whatever you want to call them, those experiences are all overlapping, but they're separated by the difference in their frequency. That's all. That's all.

But nature is so efficient, it can use the single place and the single moment in which to create all those different frequencies. You understand that?"

Now let's take it apart.

ONE. Time is a single moment, not a line.

The teaching opens by collapsing time into one point. Not a sequence you walk through, but one location that holds everything. If that is true, then every moment you have ever experienced or will experience is not somewhere ahead of you or behind you. It is here, now, in the same place. What changes is not the moment. What changes is you.

TWO. What moves is consciousness, not time.

This is the part I need to add underneath the original words, because it's the engine that makes the rest of it work. Events are fixed. They do not move.

They sit spread out like a field, already staged, already complete, in shadow form, in gray form, waiting. What moves through that field is consciousness. And consciousness moves according to vibration.

Vibration is the only variable. It is the one dial you actually have your hand on. Your vibration determines which frequency you become aware of, and awareness is what gives an event its light, its color, its life. A fixed event sitting in shadow has no life of its own. It becomes alive the instant your consciousness lands on it and lights it up. You are not creating the event. You are the one bringing it into experience.

THREE. Why it only feels like separate moments.

So when the passage says you only perceive it as another moment because you're looking at it from a different angle, this is what that angle actually is. It's your vibration shifting position. You are not traveling forward through time. You are moving through spaced out, fixed events, the way consciousness travels through a Fibonacci spiral. That word matters here, spiral, not line. You don't move through experience in a straight row. You move in a spiral.

FOUR. The two directions of the spiral.

There is an upward spiral and a downward spiral. When your vibration is elevated, the spiral moves up, and moving up brings you into contact with events on more favorable frequencies. When your vibration drops into something negative, the spiral moves down, and you meet events staged out on those lower frequencies instead. This is what ascension actually means in practical terms. It is not a metaphor floating somewhere above your head. It is a literal shift in which spiral direction your consciousness is spinning through, based on vibration. And the two cannot mix. You cannot be spiraling upward while your vibration decreases, because the upward motion is the increase. They are the same movement described twice.

FIVE. Why parallel realities are not really "parallel."

If every moment already exists in the same single place, then past, present, future, parallel, alternate, physical, non-physical, these are not different locations. They are the same location, differentiated only by frequency. Calling something a "parallel reality" is really just stretching this same one idea further than it needs to go. There is no parallel. There is only overlap.

SIX. The television metaphor.

Every channel is already broadcasting inside the set at the same time. You are not causing the other programs to not exist when you're not watching them. They are already there, running, overlapping, all at once, inside the same box. You just are not tuned to them. Changing the channel is not creating a new show. It's switching which frequency your attention, your vibration, is locked onto. Past and future work the same way. They are already playing. You are simply tuned to one channel at a time because your vibration can only hold one frequency of awareness at once.

SEVEN. Why this is nature being efficient, not nature being complicated.

The line about efficiency is the quiet key of the whole passage. Nature does not need infinite space to hold infinite outcomes. It only needs one place and one moment, because frequency does the separating for it. Instead of building a thousand different rooms for a thousand different realities, nature builds one room and lets frequency be the wall between them. That is a far more efficient design than most people give it credit for.

EIGHT. Where the ADHD comes in.

I see this the way I see it, not filtered through language first, but as something already visible, already whole, the way it appears before I ever try to describe it. That's the gift underneath what gets called ADHD for me. It lets me see straight to the core of a structure like this one, all at once, instead of piece by piece. The work here is translating that whole picture into something someone else can walk through step by step, the way I just did above, without losing what made it true to begin with.

NINE. This does not mean you have no say in it.

I want to clear something up here, because it's easy to hear "fixed events" and think that means no choice, no agency, everything already decided for you. That is not what this is saying.

Every choice you make opens a parallel path. Not a separate reality far away from you, but a line of events that follows directly after the decision you just made. The moment you take a decision, you are stepping onto a different line, a different stretch of what comes next.

And that decision itself comes out of your vibration in that exact moment. Your vibration is what shapes which decision you're even able to reach for. But vibration can always change. That's the part that keeps this whole thing from being fate.

So when you act differently than you did a moment ago, you have placed yourself on a different part of the field, a different parallel stretch, simply because your vibration shifted and carried you there. And you can always divert out of the part you're currently on. Why? Because you can always change your mind, and changing your mind is really just changing your vibration. That choice, the choice to change your mind, to shift your vibration, has its own path waiting to follow it too. It is already staged out like everything else, waiting for you to choose it into life.

So nothing here removes your hand from the wheel. It just tells you what the wheel actually is. It's your vibration. That was always the one thing you were steering.
